Warranty Coverage:
AMBIR Technology (“AMBIR”) warrants to the original purchaser that the AMBIR products listed above, purchased directly from AMBIR, an approved retailer, or an authorized reseller, will be free from defects in workmanship and materials for one year from the date of original purchase. Proof of purchase may be required for warranty service.
Obtaining Warranty Service:
  1. Contact AMBIR Customer Support at (630) 757-7525, Option 2, or email support@picturestudio.com for warranty repair instructions and return authorization.
  2. An AMBIR service technician will diagnose the issue to determine if service is needed. If covered under warranty, AMBIR will, at its discretion, repair or replace the product at no charge for parts or labor, subject to the following conditions:

Warranty Conditions:

  • The warranty applies only to products purchased directly from AMBIR, an authorized AMBIR retailer, or an approved reseller.
  • Returns without a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) will be refused.
  • Returned products must be free of damage resulting from abuse, misuse, user negligence, lack of proper maintenance, or improper shipping. Damaged products may void the warranty and will be returned to you at your expense.
  • Products must be returned in their original packaging with all original accessories and adequately over-packaged.
  • If a defect cannot be identified or reproduced, you will be responsible for return shipping costs.
  • The product label containing the model and serial number must not be removed or defaced. Removing or defacing the label will void the warranty.
  • If an exchange is authorized, the defective product must be received within fifteen (15) days of RMA issuance. Replacement products will not be sent until the defective product is received, inspected, and approved.
Exclusions from Warranty:
  • Damage caused by the use of parts or supplies not manufactured, distributed, or certified by AMBIR.
  • Damage to scanned photos or other materials.
  • Consumable items such as carrier sheets, maintenance materials, or other replaceable parts.
  • Original shipping, handling, and other charges incurred at the time of purchase are non-refundable.

Replacement or Repair:

If approved for repair or replacement, AMBIR will ship a replacement product freight prepaid within the continental United States or Canada. Replacements may be new or refurbished to AMBIR’s standards and might not include promotional materials, accessories, documentation, manuals, or cables. You are responsible for the shipping costs to return the defective unit to AMBIR. If the product cannot be repaired or replaced, AMBIR will provide a similar or equal model. Replacement products assume the remaining warranty period of the original product.
Limitation of Warranty:
Except as expressly stated in this limited warranty, AMBIR makes no other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Where implied warranties cannot be excluded, they are limited to the duration of this limited warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so these limitations may not apply to you. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. AMBIR’s liability for warranty claims is limited to repair or replacement as set forth in this statement.
